TO WHOM IT
MAY CONCERN
Re: Murli Pendharkar
It is my pleasure
to advocate on behalf of an outstanding Canadian, a colleague and
a friend. I have known Murli for over 25 years, and have a thorough
working knowledge of his values, his worth ethic and his leadership
skills.
With regard
to the latter, Murli typifies the term 'gentleman', as he is well
mannered, works well with others, and can easily identify main concepts
in convoluted dialogue or debate. He is highly considerate of others'
opinions, and as a result of his 'world' knowledge, relates very
well with individuals from other countries and cultures. His interest
in other people, and desire to improve the quality of life for his
fellow citizens, make him a natural leader. While he is keen on
achieving products, he takes great pains to ensure that the process
is followed. He has a quick and easy wit, a great sense of humor,
and explains complex phenomena easily. For these reasons he is a.
master teacher.
Murli has a
strong sense of ethics based on the values of honesty, respect,
responsibility, fairness and compassion. He so strongly believes
in these values that they dictate the course of his life. I am personally
aware of several circumstances where Murli has had to make extremely
difficult decisions. Without his strong value base, different decisions
might have been made, perhaps to Murli's personal gain but to the
detriment of the individuals in his work group. In this regard,
Murli is the most ethical and moral person that I have ever known.
Murli has extraordinary
energy and a work ethic second to none. He is dedicated in his efforts
and loves a challenge. It is perhaps this inner sense of motivation
that keeps him at the task of teaching long after many of his peers
have taken a more relaxing retirement.
In closing,
if your organization needs a principled, well educated individual
who is tireless in the dedication to task, who is an outstanding
leader, and who can complete difficult jobs through effective group
work, then Murli is the right person for the job. If these are not
the values of your organization, don't waste his time... there are
too many places in search of his talents. |
